2) Scope of services

We provide garage door and related services including (but not limited to) repair, installation, maintenance, parts replacement, adjustments, and commercial/residential service calls.

3) Quotes, estimates, and changes

  • Estimates are based on information available at the time (photos, descriptions, site conditions).
  • Final scope/cost may change if we discover hidden damage, non-standard hardware, safety issues, or site constraints.
  • Any material change to scope will be communicated as a change order (verbal, text, or written approval is acceptable).

4) Scheduling, access, and site conditions

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate service address and access instructions
  • Ensure safe access to the door area (clear vehicles/obstructions as needed)
  • Inform us of hazards (pets, wiring, damaged structures, unstable surfaces, high-lift equipment requirements) If conditions are unsafe, we may pause or reschedule until safe.

5) Emergency / after-hours service

Emergency or after-hours calls may include additional fees (call-out, dispatch, premium labor). Any such fees will be disclosed before or at time of booking where practical.

6) Customer responsibilities (important for safety)

Garage doors are heavy and can be dangerous. You agree:

  • Not to operate a door you believe is unsafe (broken spring/cable, jammed door, damaged track)
  • Not to attempt repairs beyond basic non-hazard checks We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by unauthorized modifications or continued operation after warning.

7) Parts and materials

  • Parts availability can change; some items may require sourcing from outside your local area.
  • We may use compatible replacement parts that meet functional requirements for your door system unless you request a specific brand/model (which may affect cost and timeline).
  • Special-order parts may require deposits and may be non-refundable once ordered.

8) Payments, deposits, and invoices

  • Payment terms are stated on your invoice/quote.
  • Deposits may be required for special orders or large jobs.
  • Late or unpaid invoices may be subject to collection costs and/or interest where permitted by law.
  • You authorize us to issue invoices electronically (email/text).

9) Cancellations and rescheduling

  • Please provide as much notice as possible.
  • Same-day cancellations or missed appointments may incur a cancellation/dispatch fee if resources were committed (technician travel time, reserved schedule blocks).

10) Warranties

  • Any labor or parts warranty will be described on your invoice or written quote.
  • Warranty may be void if the door/system is altered, abused, or not maintained, or if non-approved parts are installed by others.
  • Routine maintenance is recommended; lack of maintenance can cause premature wear.

11) Photos, documentation, and permissions

You grant permission for us to:

  • Take jobsite photos/videos for documentation, warranty, training, and quality control.
  • Use anonymized photos for marketing (no personal identifiers, addresses, or faces) unless you explicitly object in writing before the job is performed.

12) Website use (acceptable use)

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to hack, scrape, overload, or disrupt the site
  • Upload malicious content or spam through forms We may block abusive traffic and protect our systems.

13) Disclaimers

  • We do our best to keep website information accurate, but content may be updated without notice.
  • Service results depend on site conditions and existing equipment condition; older or damaged doors may have limitations.

14) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (lost profits, business interruption).
  • Our total liability for any claim related to services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where prohibited by law.

15) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in British Columbia, Canada, and applicable federal laws of Canada.
